A major turn around today.

I know this seems like a quick turnaround but that is what you deal with doing a international adoption. One day you hear the bad news and it seems like it could all end and the next day it is better and things look good again.

Today we got good news on the adoption climate in Russia from our agencies director. As I said before the Ministries in Russia have been having meetings all week. My understanding is the Ministry who handles the children without parents is all for foreign adoptions and made a statement today. Our director was very happy about this as she said it was major that he did this as it must of come and be backed by the Kremlin. She also stated that this would help settle the climate in Russia and ease things up with the naysayers so to speak.

So that was good news for us today. It sure makes us feel better considering we are flying over there in 10 days!
